The Brighton Sand Festival is a fantastic celebration of sand in the form of sculptures. This festival has made a welcome return to Brighton after an absence of many years. Previous festivals had a theme such as Egypt and Ancient Rome. For 2013 the organisers have looked to the world of popular culture and have created an excellent selection of sand sculptures of celebrated musical giants. From Beethoven to the Beatles and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Abba, they are all here and more!
