Mary Rose 2013 Stereocards
The Mary Rose was a flagship of Henry VIIIs navy. Built in 1510 this ship was the Kings pride and joy. However, she was to sink in terrible circumstances in 1545 as she sailed to meet a French fleet. This happened in full view of the King himself. In 1982 the ship was raised and proved to be a treasure trove of Tudor artefacts. This gallery contains stereocards depicting the vessel as she is displayed at Portsmouth Naval Dockyard in 2013.
