Medieval Churches on Romney Marsh
Romney Marsh in south Kent is an ancient place full of history and mystery. An enduring feature of this landscape are the medieval churches many of which will accomodate a larger congregation than the immediate surrounding population.
St Thomas a Becket church, Fairfield
St. Thomas a Becket Church at Fairfield is the only church in the Canterbury diocese dedicated to the archbishop. The build ing dates from the 13th century and is a photographers magnet. I imagine most landscape photographers in the south east of England have visited this site.
