Medieval Churches on Romney Marsh
Romney Marsh in south Kent is an ancient place full of history and mystery. An enduring feature of this landscape are the medieval churches many of which will accomodate a larger congregation than the immediate surrounding population.
St Georges church, Ivychurch
St Georges Church at Ivychurch is another extremely large building on Romney Marsh and similar to All Saints in Lydd is also often referred to as the Cathedral of the Marsh.
