Medieval Churches on Romney Marsh
Romney Marsh in south Kent is an ancient place full of history and mystery. An enduring feature of this landscape are the medieval churches many of which will accomodate a larger congregation than the immediate surrounding population.
St Mary the Virgin Church at St Mary in the Marsh is famous for being the resting place of E. Nesbit, the author of the Railway Children.
